Reaching for the Divine

Do you feel the desire within your deepest self to become closer to "That For Which No Name Is Adequate"?  Do you have that little, niggling feeling that there is more out there, that you want and need whatever it is?

Congratulations!  Something marvelous has awakened within you, and your journey to fulfillment has begun. It will be as simple, or as complex, as you make it.

Here are some initial suggestions to help you on your way.

• Learn to see God's face everywhere you turn.  This is God's creation; what else could you accurately see? 
• Love and bless all around you, as much as you can.  There are no exceptions, except those in your won heart.  Work to remove them.  You will get better with practice. This is a lifelong challenge.  And it feels good! 
• Praise and appreciate as much as you can.  

These sound simple, but they are profound in that they are powerful tools that help you bring yourself into harmony with this Universe, and beyond.  And, they are enough to keep you busy and challenged as long as you live in your present body.

When you are in harmony, life becomes a smoother and more pleasant ride.  You will find more, wonderful surprises in your path.

We freely admit that none of this is new information. The Path has been here for a long time.  

We offer this as a short reminder to help you focus on what you need to do to get where you are wanting to go.

The Fullness of Time/Burning for God

The fullness of time.  Everything important happens in the fullness of Time.  Important meetings, life-changing events, epiphanies...things of this type can only happen in Sacred Time, God's perfect Time. These events are the building blocks of your soul, things that are used to step from one level to the next.

Your soul is the Flame you burn for God.  It is ignited by love, Higher Love. You feed it by loving. You tend it by your actions of caring, support, and generosity to your fellow Soul-Flames.

We want you to burn with Love for all Creation. This is one aspect, an important aspect, of your Destiny.

If you want to increase your vibration, this is how to do it: Perceive the beauty and perfection of all around you. Look for it beneath the surface when it is not immediately apparent. See it, acknowledge it, love it.

Learning to see it may be the hardest part, but it is also the most rewarding.

See it.

Love it.

Cherish it.

Honor it.

Then, watch what happens within you and without.

This is the surest way to bless your world.  The effects will be felt by all around you.

Change yourself, change your world.  It's all interconnected.

Hold This Thought

It is important to stay centered in these times, and always.

Hold close the knowledge that the God of your understanding is present, and an active part of every situation.

Be aware of current events, and what is going on around you, but always keep the perspective that your  God is there.

Your God is there.

Your God is there.

Let this be your mantra, the beat of your heart, the rhythm of your breath.

Remember that God is intrinsic in everything. That is really all you have to know.

God is here.

God is there.

God is everywhere.

Amen.

The Power of Your Blessing

Let it be. Stop fighting and struggling, and bless it. Then, whatever it is, let it be.

Make peace with it in your heart, and bless it again.

You don't have to change it, for it will change itself, powered by the force of your blessings.

Your blessing adds God into the equation.  And God's presence changes everything.

Do you want to change the world? Bless it, and bless it, and bless it again.

Let every word from your lips carry a (sometimes secret) blessing. The blessing can be a hidden packet within or beneath your everyday words. Be it "yes" or "no," let the packet remain the same. Let the blessing within remain heartfelt.

Open yourself and let God's love and blessings flow through you in every situation. This is not the same as becoming a doormat. Quite the contrary! We expect you to draw the line clearly and firmly, but with love.

You have no enemies, truly. Oh, they may think they are. Your kindness and good will will disconnect and then disarm them. When your every word and action carries your love and blessing, what have they to fight against?

You cannot fight against a clean and simple blessing, one that is not laden with the burden of judgment.

You want to offer a blessing that is without strings, without strictures or attachments.

This, alone, can remake your world and the world at large.

The Nature of the Game

This is an amazing place you live. Look all around you and behold its perfection.

You desired to experience God in a concrete, physical form.  That is why you are here. You have wondered about that, haven't you?

In a way, this is a cosmic peek-a-boo game. Your challenge as a participant is to find and see God -- and God's Beauty and Perfection -- shining out in the most unlikely places.

That was the idea, initially, and many souls leaped at the opportunity. You see, they thought it would be simple. Easy. Because, from where they were at the time, it was and it is. It is, in fact, the most natural thing in the world.

They vastly underestimated the challenge. There are and were so many distractions about, so many new avenues to explore, that they totally forgot the nature of the game they set out to play.

They forgot it was a game in the first place. And it became deadly serious. Deadly and serious. The result is much of what you see about you.

You, too, may have fallen for it. Almost everyone does, at least for a time. It's very convincing, you see. And the deviations from God's Perfect Plan (which occur when souls forget) are so novel and fascinating that they tend to hold your attention, your focus, and to engender a passionate emotional response. A negative one.

Since energy flows where your attention is directed, these anomalies tend to grow in scope and degree.

The trick to counteracting this effect is to step back and remember that this, too, is God: God letting souls learn from their manifestation misjudgments.

And this, too, is a form of perfection. The perfect classroom, so to speak.

You chose to come here, you chose to enter into the game because you wanted to know God better. You wanted to understand more. You wanted to love God more fully.

You didn't expect to learn about hatred, fear, and judgment, but you did. And you are the wiser for it.

Be proud of yourself, for although it may not have taken much courage to start, since you thought it would be easy for you, and fun, it DID take courage and fortitude to see it through.

And if you are here reading this, that is exactly what you did.

Take a moment, also, to recognize and consider that everyone else here did the same thing. Be proud of them, as well.

Now that you more consciously know the name of the game, see if you can play it better.

The more you do, the more you practice, the greater your alignment with the energy of God and your Universe. That's where all the "good stuff" lies.  A simple change in focus is all it takes to make the change.

And it will change everything for you. This is not an overstatement.

The First Peace, and Then...

Someone on Facebook replied, "But then? What happens?"

I found myself responding, with a little help from my friends:

You find an inner peace and joy beyond your previous comprehension. You discover a depth of love within yourself you never thought possible. You discover that the real you is far greater than you were led to believe. You learn that vast amounts of love and support are around you at all times, and sustenance for your soul is available with every breath. Fulfillment takes on a whole new meaning, as you set your feet on a new and exciting path to enlightenment. That said, everyone's experience is as unique as they are, and as similar as if they were One.

Feeling Disconnected Lately?

My partner in this work and I just compared notes and found we both are feeling quite disconnected from this place right now.  For me, it has been like floating above it all and looking down at everything from a hot air balloon. My partner reports finding that she cares less or not at all about some things that used to matter to her.

There is a reason you are feeling disconnected.  You and your energy are actually in the process of disconnecting from the "3-D" world. Your path and that of the matter-bound majority are separating, coming apart. If you look at them now, you will see how small and distant they appear.

The way to keep yourself centered and "grounded" in this instance is to keep a loving energy going, connecting you with both the Divine and the Sacred Heart of this planet.  This balance will keep you from going too far in either direction for your own good.

You don't want or need to keep an attachment to earthly current events, so much as to love yourself over to the more refined vibe of the higher realm, where you will now be a more comfortable fit.  That is, don't let yourself be drawn into the drama going on here.

Love and blessings for all is the order of the day.  Inner Peace breeds outer peace.  Outer peace provides a rich base (showing me the culture in a petri dish) for deep healing and restoration to the Divine Blueprint.  - A quiet and fertile ground for the easy and quick return to Harmony with the Universe.

You, from this disconnected state, can provide this in concert with others.  By holding Peace, Light, and Love in your hearts, you create the environment for sudden changes that some would call miracles.  Peace, Light, and Love open the realm of possibilities and provide the calm space for gentle shifts that yield huge results.  (Seeing a finger pushing a small, rectangular puzzle piece over a fraction of an inch. That's the shift that changes everything.)  I had been thinking it was like flipping the switch on a railroad track to send the train a new direction, but I was told that wasn't dramatic or sudden enough.  Instead, I got, it's like moving the needle on a vinyl record a little bit, which starts playing a whole different song.

Much of your work is going on behind the scenes, so to speak, as you sleep.   So whether you realize it or not, you are doing exactly what you need to be doing.  This leaves you a little more time and energy to focus on the you that is here, now, which also helps to keep the balance of which we spoke.

Marinate Yourself in Divine Love

Take some time each day to marinate yourself in Divine Love.  Treat yourself to some quiet time one-on-one with your Beloved.

For some of you, this may already be a natural thing.  For the rest of you, here are some hints and suggestions to help you along.

• Know that you are dearly loved.  Your Creator adores you.  If you want to know more about this, see Godspeak for a quick and friendly introduction.  
• Approach this with joyous anticipation.  If you don't know why, you'll find out!
• Hold the knowing that there is nothing better or more important that you can do with this particular scrap of your time.  Leave any guilt aside.  You are not "doing nothing", or "being lazy."  This is an investment in you and your wellbeing, and much, much more.  
• Settle yourself in a quiet space.  If a quiet space is not available, quiet yourself within by breathing deeply and letting go of muscle tension to the extent that you can.  
• Set your intent to spend some quality time with your God, loving and being loved.  
• Gently tap the top of your head a few times.  This will wake up your crown chakra, which is your connection point with the Divine.  
• Think of God with loving thoughts.  Reach out with your mind to God, and let your whole being follow suit.  Imagine holding out your arms to God for a big, warm hug.  

You cannot send love to God without receiving God's love in return.  It is impossible!  And, your love will return to you amplified, magnified, purified, and multiplied.  It cannot be otherwise, for this is the Universal Law.

What can this do for you?  Love cleanses, Love heals, Love uplifts and glorifies.  God's love fills you with Joy, Light, and Peace.

The more you practice at this, the stronger and surer your connection will become, and the better it - and you - will feel.  Your heart will grow in radiance and soften toward all of Creation.  This is just the start.

Song of Ascension

Do you want to ascend?

There is no better way than by singing songs of praise.  The praise of your words, of your melody, of your heart, make it triply effective.

The joy and "rightness" overflow the boundaries of your own personal energy field and bless the world around you, both nature and the people who think they aren't a part of it any more.  (wink!)  Even the so-called inanimate objects are blessed by you and your song.

A song in your heart, a dance or lilt in your step, these seemingly simple things are surprisingly powerful. They can change not only your world, but the world at large.

This is not the first time we have talked about the power of appreciation and gratitude, but it is time to visit the topic again.  It is easy to forget, or to downgrade the importance of this simple practice in your mind.

If you choose your thoughts and attitude so that they are positive the majority of the time, you will be surprised at how much will change, and how effortlessly it seems to happen.  This one change alone can turn the tide, even in the most daunting of situations.

Don't fight it, celebrate it.  Celebrate it as the stepping stone to the next, better thing.

Once you start to search, you will find much to celebrate.
